A simple and flexible Object Oriented approach to PHP
written 969 days agoIf you’ve ever coded a php application without using any object-oriented approach at all, you must have realized that the resulting application is very messy and difficult to maintain.
The purpose of POG is to generate PHP objects that are easy to understand from the programmer’s point of view, but more importantly, easy to implement. There are many design patterns out there, such as Simple Object Oriented Data Access (SOODA), Database Access Object (DAO) that are very useful in many situations. However, we wanted to create an even more lightweight Object Database Pattern.
Php Object Generator implements this chosen pattern and creates self-contained objects that you can save and retrieve, to and from a MySQL database. To use the object in your php application, you’ll simply have to include the object class file along with a Database Access Class file.
The generated php object, database access class, along with a configuration file are provided to you in a conveniently zipped file. You simply need to collect the code and use it!
