written 1619 days agoPog is currently at version 1.0 revision 8, or (Rev8). This number appears in the title bar of your browser whenever you visit phpobjectgenerator.com and also appears in the comments at the top of the code we generate for you.
Why should you, as a user, care? The truth is, you don’t have to. However, this number tells you one thing: POG is in constant state of improvement and development. Each time we make improvements based on your feedback and on our own judgement, the revision number increases. So, when you generate new code and notice that the revision number has increased, this means that the code will be different, but still 100% compatible with previously generated objects.
If, however, you notice that the version number has changed, then this means that we have made major changes to the generated code and it will not be compatible with previously generated code.
As mentioned above, if you don’t care about details, just forget what was just said. We just want you to know that POG is constantly being improved and tweaked, and this will hopefully save you more and more time.
